A POWER cut in Bury left more than 2,600 homes and businesses without electricity this morning.
Electricity North West said that 2,687 customers in the BL9 postcode area lost power from 10.26am due to an underground cable fault.
It affected properties in Chesham, as well as around Rochdale Old Road and Wash Lane.
The majority of customers have had their electricity restored, but 299 customers are still affected.
An ENW spokesperson said: “Staff are on site and hope to get everyone back up and running by 2pm.”
