A 27-year-old man has been charged after reports of an assault in Bury town centre.
John Entwistle of Seedfield Road, Bury has been charged with section 18 assault or grievous bodily harm.
He has been charged in connection with a report of an assault in Silver Street, Bury at 3.45am on Saturday.
Entwistle remains in custody and is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court later today.
