A BUSY road was shut this morning after a 'serious' crash.
Bolton Road, in Radcliffe, was closed in both directions after the accident, which happened between Stopes Road and Wordsworth Avenue at around 8am.
Police say that minor injuries were suffered by the drivers of a black Mercedes and a Toyota RAV4.
Traffic officers said that the driver of the Mercedes provided a roadside breath sample of 35 micrograms of alcohol for every 100 millilitres of breath - which is exactly on the legal limit.
