THE Paper Mill has closed its doors to begin an extensive transformation that will bring 15 new jobs to the area.

The new pub restaurant on Roach Bank Road will be led by general manager, Nicholas Bidwell.

He said: “Our brand-new venue will offer something for everyone. We are all about giving our guests great service, food and drinks in a friendly, relaxed environment within the local community.”

The Paper Mill hopes to serve people for every occasion from a meal with friends and family in the evening, a bite at lunchtime or a quick pint after work.

The new menu will include a range of modern and classic dishes, from home-made, winter soups to grills, burgers, sharing dishes and lighter lunches. There will also be a special value menu offering meals from £4.99 available all day, every day.

The interior of the restaurant is set for a complete overhaul, to introduce a fresh and welcoming environment.

Nicholas added: “The new surroundings will make you feel like you are at home and we will offer full-service at your table, letting guests sit back and relax as soon as they walk through the door – we will do all the hard work.

"We are looking forward to giving guests a warm welcome when we open the doors to the public on Monday February 19."

The new venue is currently looking for hard working, passionate team players to join the team in kitchen and front of house positions. Send your CV to eatinginn@outlook.com or go along the recruitment day on Saturday January 27, at Hollins Village Community Centre, Hollins Lane from 12noon to 6pm.
