n DEVELOPMENT of Bury town centre will get back underway in five weeks time.

A March re-start deadline has been fixed for the over £3 million project and contractors are poised to move back to the main site.

Immediate plans are to provide 50 shops, a supermarket, a departmental store, two restaurants, a public house, and offices; plus parking spaces fro up to 400 cars.

The major part of the work is hoped to be completed in two years.
