A NEW call centre is set to create 150 jobs in Bury town centre.

Professional Reclaim Services, which specialises in helping people to reclaim mis-sold PPI, is offering 150 sales positions, at the company's new site, The Hub, at the Mill Gate Shopping Centre.

The Hub launches on February 26 , and is the company's second site in the town joining their operation in the Castle Building, in the Market Place which employs 30 people.

Owner of Professional Reclaim Services, Kamer Yasin, who is from Bury and studied business at Bury College, said it was important for him to open the new centre in the borough.

He said: "We wanted to create more jobs for people in Bury and I know Bury will be a great town to open in.

"We are excited about the centre and I think the people of Bury will love it."

The company is currently offering sales positions, but as the operation grows more roles in different capacities may also be offered.

Mr Yasin said: "We are taking a lot of people on without experience, age doesn't matter, and we will provide full training and support for them."

The Hub boasts work spaces for all 150 employees, a boardroom, and a canteen, as well as break-out spaces including arcade games and pool tables.

Mr Yasin, said: "This is a brand new call centre that we are opening from scratch.

"We chose the Mill Gate as it is at the heart of Bury so it easy for everyone to get to.

"The move has been very successful and everything has been smooth.

"We have come a long way since we started work on The Hub, as it was a clothes shop before.

"It took about six weeks of work to convert the space, and we have done a lot of work to get to where we are today."

The Hub is inviting job applicants. To apply send your CV to recruitment@thehubbury.co.uk or call 07988044805.
