SUPERJOSH founder Dawn Fidler brings you her latest blog

IT has a very busy week for Team SuperJosh helping as much as we can, despite the crazy weather.

We want to say a massive thank you to our friends at Wealthcare, who, over the past two years, have helped us raise £2,000 to help fund our work supporting families living with brain tumours.

Their fundraising has helped us provide four families with expenses grants during their child's stay in hospital and has funded 10 counselling sessions, both of which I know first hand are so vitally important and hard to find support else where.

Richard Harris, joint managing director of Wealthcare, said: “After another fantastic year of fundraising, we are delighted to have been able to present a cheque for £2,000 to The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity.

"SuperJosh plays an important role in the community, providing essential support to children and their families affected by brain tumours. A fantastic legacy for Joshua.

"We feel it’s really important to put something back into the community and share our success with a worthy cause that needs public support.

"We are really proud of everyone who raised or donated money."

We are so proud to be able to help eight-year-old Sophie who has two homes just like Josh did, sometimes lives with her mum and sometimes with her dad, but the local authority will only fund one special profiling bed needed for medical health reasons.

We are so happy that we've been able to send beautiful Sophie a new special bed as Josh's legacy — super new bed for a smiley princess!
