SMOKE filled a bank in the early hours of this morning but, disproving the old adage, there was no fire.
Firefighters were called to Barclays Bank, at The Rock at about 5am.
The banks 'SmokeCloak' security system had been triggered, releasing an impenetrable cloud of fog, intended to thwart intruders.
However, no person was discovered in the bank and it is not known what set the system off.
Firefighters were at the scene for about 20 minutes
