BURY’S hopes of League One survival suffered another major blow on Saturday as they went down 2-1 at fellow strugglers MK Dons and slipped nine points adrift of safety.

Despite George Miller’s late consolation, the Shakers were ultimately undone by two Chuks Aneke penalties as MK Dons picked up back-to-back victories for the first time under Dan Micicchie and left Ryan Lowe’s side rooted to the foot of the table with just nine games remaining.
