A MASS dachshund walk has helped raise more than £5,000 in aid of two good causes.
Hundreds of the popular pooches and their owners turned out for an afternoon walk in Heaton Park at the weekend.
The funds have been tallied up and organiser Julie Barbour has now announced that the event helped raise £5,400 for charities Dedicated to Dachshunds with IVDD and dachshund rescue fund the Red Foundation.
Photographer Ben Unwin captured the moment when 1,239 dachshunds and their owners reached Heaton Hall.
