A MARRIED teacher from Bury has been suspended after allegations that he had an inappropriate liaison with a colleague in a classroom.
It is claimed that the father-of-three had the liaison with a married colleague at Haslingden School — and the pair are alleged to have been seen by a pupil.
Mark Jackson, headteacher at Haslingden High School, said: "We are aware of an allegation which is currently being investigated. Two members of staff have been suspended pending the outcome of this investigation.
"We will not be commenting further at this time."
