Scobell Street in Tottington
FIREFIGHTERS were called out after some trees were set on fire in Tottington yesterday.
A crew from Ramsbottom Fire Station received a report of the fire, involving a 'large quantity of trees' piled in a field off Scobell Street, at about 5.30pm.
A group of children were seen in the field but ran off as fire engines arrived.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire and worked at the scene for about forty minutes.
