PUBS across Bury are offering free beer during the World Cup.

Greene King pubs have teamed up with popular football broadcaster Chris Kamara to launch a new limited-edition brew called Un-beer-lievable that patrons can get a pint of free of charge.

The deal will be available at five pubs in Bury, The Hare & Hounds in Holcombe Brook; The Rose & Crown in Ainsworth; The Wellington, in Bolton Road; The Robin Hood in Tottington; and The Knowsley in Haymarket Street.

Fans can get their free pint by downloading Greene King Season Ticket app, which also offers 10 per cent off drinks one hour before, during and after sports matches at 800 pubs nationwide.

The competition offers the winners a special sofa in front of the television, as well as a case of beer and burgers at half time.

The beer itself is described as a light ale with citrus notes and a crisp, bitter finish.

To claim a free pint, patrons must download the Greene King Season Ticket app from the App Store.

Alternative complimentary drinks are available on request including, pints on draught, bottles and soft drinks.

England’s World Cup journey begins on June 18 when the team faces Tunisia before playing Panama on June 24 and Belgium on June 28.
