EMERGENCY services were called out to a fire in Radcliffe town centre today.
Firefighters and police received a report of a fire on the roof of Limelight Amusements, in Dale Street, shortly before 10.50am.
The fire, which is believed to have been caused by a discarded cigarette, was extinguished by firefighters.
Nearby Radcliffe Bus Station was closed while emergency services attended the scene.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "We were called at 10.49am to reports of a fire on a roof.
"When we arrived, there was no immediate risk. It looked like it was a discarded cigarette which was put out by the fire service."
