FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an industrial bin fire at Bury Interchange this morning.
A crew from Bury Fire Station attended the incident at about 11.40am after they were contacted by staff, who reported a group of youths throwing something in to the bin.
Firefighters worked at the scene for about 20 minutes to put out the fire.
Steve Urmston, watch manager at Bury Fire Station, said: “I spoke to the manager and he said they were going to get a lock put on the bins to stop it happening again.”
