A MAN'S body has been found after police were called to a brook in Tottington.
Officers were called to Keld Close at about 6.05pm on Tuesday to reports that a body had been found in nearby Kirklees Brook.
Upon attending, they discovered the body of a man.
Police say they do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death, and a file has been passed to the coroner.
A large police presence, including crime scene investigators, was in place in Keld Close on Tuesday night.
A section of the Kirklees Trail, behind Keld Close, was cordoned off, as well as an alley which acts as a link between the street and the trail.
An ambulance also attended the scene, while an air ambulance was seen landing close to Kirklees Brook.
The cordons have since been removed.
