POLICE are searching for a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault who is "actively evading arrest".

Lee Cadwallader, from Presto Street, Farnworth, breached a restraining order and is known to have links to Bolton, Blackley, Harpurhey, Moston and Hull.

Officers believe the 30-year-old knows he is wanted by police but is trying not to be caught.

As well as breaching his restraining order, he is believed to be linked to a sexual assault case which happened in North Manchester last year.

In a statement released by Greater Manchester Police, a spokesman said: "Police are searching for a man who is wanted in connection with a sexual assault in North Manchester. Lee Cadwallader (10/03/1988) of Presto Street, Farnworth is wanted after breaching a restraining order.

"He is also wanted in connection with a sexual assault and assault which happened earlier this year. Cadwallader knows he is wanted by police but is actively evading arrest."

Anyone with information about Cadwallader’s whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101 or make an anonymous report through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
