Metrolink services are running to Bury again following disruption due to flooding.
Trams have not operated between Whitefield and Bury since 10am yesterday after land next to the line was flooded.
Michael Renshaw, GMPTE's Interim Service Delivery Director, said: "We've been working closely with the fire brigade, Bury Council and Stagecoach - the Metrolink operator - to assess the situation.
"As a result of pumping water out, the flood levels have reduced overnight and I am pleased that we've been able to reinstate the service to Bury.
"We'll continue to monitor the situation and are advising passengers that they may still need to allow extra time for their journeys."
