Manchester blaze seen from Bury
4:00pm Monday 21st July 2008
A blaze in Gorton, East Manchester, sent a thick plum of smoke into the air which could be seen from Bury.
Around 40 firefighters were called to the industrial unit in Crossley Street, Gorton, at 3.30pm this afternoon.
A large quantity of wood was destroyed in the fire.
