A FEAST of fun was served up by Tottington & Bury West Rotary Club when they held their annual Junior Masterchef competition.

More than 40 entries were received from year 9 and 10 students round the borough, which was shortlisted to 10 teams of two for the final.

Held at Bury College’s catering department, Sophia Taylor and Eve Smith from Bury Grammar School for Girls took the top honours.

Ben Howarth and Natalie Walker, from the Elton High School, came runners-up with Sherri Mason and Eleanor Healer from Radcliffe Riverside High School finishing in third position.

The winning duo received a cash prize and meal, plus a day’s work experience at Nutters Restaurant.
