FIRE crews in Bury will swap their wellies for dancing shoes on Saturday when they host a charity summer party.
The disco and karaoke will take place in the engine room at The Rock station.
Tickets are priced at £5 and all proceeds will go to the Fire Service Charity, previously known as the National Fire Service Benevolent Fund.
Peter Fletcher, Bury’s senior fire officer, said: “It has been a number of years since we last held one of these charity nights at the station. They are great fun and everyone who has attended has had a great night.”
The summer party starts at 7.30pm and tickets can be booked in advance by ringing the fire station on (0161) 909 0303 or bought on the door.
