HARDWARE was the incentive for hard work at an enterprise education event at Bury Grammar School for Girls.
In addition to prizes for the best performing team, IT giant NEC Computers donated a laptop to the most outstanding student.
The event was run by Bury-based enterprise education provider Prologue, co-founded by business owners Jane Carroll and Kieran Rafferty.
Students were introduced to the opportunities and challenges of a genuine business environment through an interactive game, giving a practical understanding of key business areas such as teamwork, project management and sales and marketing.
Marie Whitlow, head of economics and business studies at the Bridge Road school, commented: “The day was fantastic. It gave the students the opportunity to develop their key skills in preparation for further education and work but in a fun and stimulating environment.”
