Cannabis farm case

A MAN has appeared in court charged in connection with the discovery of 400 cannabis plants at a house in Prestwich.
Hai Tran, aged 40, was arrested on Friday afternoon following a police raid on the property in Park Road. He was later charged with producing cannabis and abstracting electricity.
Tran, of no fixed address, appeared at Bury Magistrates’ Court on Monday and was remanded in custody until August 19.
