CHESS players hope to make all the right moves this weekend in a major Bury event which carries a £660 prize fund.

The 15th Bury Rapidplay Chess Congress will take place at Elton Vale Sports Club in Elton Vale Road, on Sunday beginning at 10am.

The event, sponsored by local accountants Metcalfe & Co and Winterthur Life, is organised by Bury Chess Club.
