Plans for cycle parking at tram stations

WHEELS are in motion to provide enhanced cycle parking facilities at Metrolink stops.

These will be set up at stations along the Bury and Eccles lines and at stops currently being built as part of the Metrolink extension.

Each of the new park and sides sites will also benefit from the scheme.

Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (GMPTE), which owns the tram system, is behind the improvements to cycle parking and storage facilities on the Metrolink network. The plans have been presented to Greater Manchester Integrated Transport Authority.
