POLICE are growing concerned for a woman missing from her home in Bury.
Catherine Chapman, aged 55, was last seen at about 3pm on Friday when she left the Knowsley pub on Haymarket Street in the town centre.
Catherine has never been missing before. She could be in the Bury area and it is not known whether she has access to money.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have seen Catherine. She is white, about 5ft 6in tall, of slim build, with short red hair.
When last seen, Catherine was wearing a navy blue hooded top, dark jeans and a black, leather handbag.
Chf Insp Sean Hogan said: "It is extremely out of character for Catherine to disappear in this way. Her family are clearly very worried about her.
"We have carried out a number of inquiries to trace Catherine and we would urge anyone who may have seen her to get in touch with us.
"Catherine, if you read or hear this appeal, please contact either the police or your family. Everybody is worried about you and wants you to come back."
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 872 5050.
