A DRIVER has appeared in court and admitted causing the death of a Bury cyclist last year.
Lee Kenny, aged 41, of Rochdale Old Road, Bury, pleaded guilty on Monday to causing death by careless driving at Bolton Crown Court.
Bernard Parkes, aged 64, of Radcliffe Road, Bury, suffered a head injury in the collision and died two days later.
Mr Parkes was riding his push bike near Bury College when it was in collision with a Peugeot 307 at about 7.30am on March 23 last year.
Kenny will be sentenced on February 17 at Bolton Crown Court.
