THE latest aids, equipment and advice for blind and partially sighted people will be on show in Bury next week.
A mobile Sight Loss Information Service will be stationed in Kay Gardens on Wednesday, from 10am to 4pm.
Run by the national charity Action For Blind People, it will demonstrate the latest technology and gadgets - such as vibrating banknote detectors and talking microwaves and tin lids - to improve the quality of life for the visually-impaired.
The charity's freephone helpline number is 0800 915 4666.
