DRIVERS faced motorway chaos this morning after wet and icy conditions caused a crash.
Traffic is still queuing on the M66 southbound after a crash between two cars at 7.53am between junction three at Hollins and junction four at Simister Island.
No one was injured in the crash, which saw the third lane closed until 8.38am while both vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder.
All lanes have now been reopened but queues remain as far back as the Edenfield Bypass (A56).
