Crash involving four cars causes delays on M66
A MULTI vehicle crash involving four cars caused delays on the M66.
Police and fire crews attended the incident at about 2.15pm, on the southbound carriageway on the motorway between Junction 2 at Heap Bridge and Junction 3 at Pilsworth.
The drivers did not suffer any injuries, but the fire service were also called after one of the cars was seen to be smoking.
Traffic began to queue while debris was removed from the road, and the incident has now been cleared.
