PERFORMING arts and music students were "hopelessly devoted" to the latest production staged at Castlebrook High School.

They staged the musical Grease to packed audiences over three evenings at the school in Parr Lane, Unsworth,

Led by the standout vocals of Sandy Dumbroski (Sian Stephens) and Danny Zuko (Robert Webb), the final night proved a sell-out, causing organisers to describe it as the school's best-ever selling show.

Cast member Danielle Strong said: “This year’s school production was fantastic. We had the audience in stitches laughing, singing along and clapping to the beat.

"The shows went according to plan and the cast took pride in what they were doing and you could clearly see the hard work that went into making the piece what it was."
