YOUNGSTERS enjoyed an exciting programme of fun and adventure at Burrs Activity Centre in Bury.
Action for Children, based at the town's Re:d Centre, organised an overnight visit to Burrs Bunkhouse for a number of young people.
The Re:d Centre in Morley Street is a resource centre for disabled children and young people, and alongside the fun activities, the youngsters took part in a workshop with Bury Parents Forum to identify their own hopes and dreams for the future.
They also enjoyed a day of archery, abseiling, canoeing, water polo and a disco.
Action for Children provides short-break services, play activities and social opportunities as well as cinema trips, swimming, and days at the beach — activities that can be difficult for families to organise.
