TWO women living in the same home celebrated their 100th birthdays together.
Florrie Williams and Mary Mole enjoyed a joint party at Burrswood House Nursing Home to celebrate their centenaries with friends and family.
Mrs Williams, who turned 100 on June 15, spent most of her life living in Heywood where she grew up with her mum, dad, five brothers and two sisters.
The retired ring spinner and grandmother to Julie and Lee, was married to her late husband Harry and is mother to Ann Marney.
Mrs Mole, who grew up in Bury with her parents and eight brothers and sisters, turned 100 on June 16.
Mrs Mole, a retired shopworker, married Albert and they raised their son David together in Bury.
The former darts player competed in the town and now enjoys attending Bury’s Jubilee Centre once a week for a game of bingo.
An Elvis double attended the party at the home in Newton Street last Wednesday (June 17), and Mrs Williams and Mrs Mole enjoyed dancing, wartime music and a buffet.
Katie Rowe, senior care assistant, said: "They loved the birthday party, and they're still talking about it now.
"They both had cakes brought in by their families and then one cake from the home between them, so there was lots of cake to go around."
