BURY Acapeelers earned the plaudits when they crossed the Pennines to take part in the annual Street Choirs festival in Whitby.
They were among 1,000 choir members from all over the country performing at the two-day event, getting engaged in busking, workshops and evening concerts.
Members of Bury Acapeelers took two bows for their performance at an evening concert at the Whitby Pavilion. They are now looking forward to taking part in the annual Glaston-Bury music event on August Bank Holiday Monday.
Those who wish to join the choir are invited to the Blackburne Hall, at the rear of Bury Parish Church, each Thursday between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
