SIX more people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a raid on houses in Bury and Whitefield.
In February, police investigating the murder of 26-year-old Kieran McGrath raided six properties in Bury, Whitefield, Heywood and Blackley and arrested three men, who have since been released pending further enquries.
On Monday, officers executed warrants at properties in Bury, Whitefield, north Manchester and Wigan and arrested six more people.
They are aged 33, 31, 31, 27, 23 and 18 and remain in police custody for questioning.
Kieran was found collapsed outside Ashton Police Station at 10.25pm on October 4 and it later emerged he had made his way there after being shot in the chest.
He was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts to resuscitate him.
