TWO popular town centre venues are toasting Bury's "Super Josh" by creating a special cocktail to help raise funds for his charity.

For 50p from each cocktail sold at the Automatic in Market Street and at The Clarence in Silver Street, will be donated to the Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour charity.

Dawn Fidler, mum of the brave Walshaw youngster who died last year, said: "The cocktail is based on Josh's favourite cake, a Bakewell tart, and gin which is my favourite tipple. It's actually delicious. This is a really good way of raising awareness of our charity."

Ben Earnshaw, assistant general manager at The Clarence, said: "Ourselves and Dawn got together to create the cocktail which is meant to taste like a bakewell tart. It contains Amaretto and sloe gin, apple and pineapple juice and bakewell tart flavouring. It tastes very fruity and is popular with the ladies.

"The 'Super Josh' cocktail is proving very popular and we've sold quite a lot already. It's on all our menus."
