A MAN had to be pulled from his car after a crash in Radcliffe last night.
Two cars collided in Cross Lane at 9.15pm when police and fire crews from Whitefield and Bury were called to the scene.
The driver of a Ford Focus was able to get out of his car although firefighters had to pull out the driver of a Toyota.
Both drivers were taken to hospital as a precaution although watch manager Tim Eaton said there were no serious injuries.
He said: “We can’t tell how the accident happened but the police are investigating and both drivers seemed to be okay.
“The Toyota driver said he couldn’t get out of his car so we had to pull him out although no specialist equipment was needed to actually cut him out.
“It seems like both men may have suffered from whiplash and were taken to hospital as a precaution.”
