MORE than 300 Rainbows from across the region came together for a ‘Right Royal Rainbow Day’ in Bury to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday.
The Drill Hall, in Castle Street, was turned into a palace for the event on Saturday, as the girls, aged five to seven, too part in a variety of fun-filled activities including dancing, croquet, jewellery making, and crown decorating.
Michelle Wood, who organised the celebration, said: “What an amazing day. Seeing so many girls, leaders and volunteers coming together having so much fun in one room has been brilliant. Thank you to all the volunteers who go out of their way to give girls such great opportunities.”
