LEAVE campaigners will be bringing their battle bus to Bury this afternoon, ahead of Thursday's EU referendum.

UKIP's ‘Project Fact’ coach is touring the North West on Monday, and began its journey around the region in Stretford at 9am.

UKIP Deputy Leader Paul Nuttall, who is North West MEP, and fellow party activists will be onboard the coach, which is stopping at dozens of locations during its tour.

Mr Nuttall said: “This tour will send out a bold and strong message to Project Fear and the Remain camp – that the wheels are coming off their faltering campaign.

“I call on people to get onboard the Brexit campaign and in turn ensure Britain is once again an independent nation.”

The bus is expected to arrive in Moss Street at around 5.15pm.
