IVAN Lewis has vowed to fight for a new high school for Radcliffe and regeneration for the town centre as he seeks re-election.
The Bury South MP confirmed yesterday that he intends to stand again for the seat at the general election on June 8.
He said: “I am proud to represent my home town constituency again. It is always a tremendous honour. I am very proud of my record locally; however I take nothing for granted.”
