BURY Hospice is on the hunt for sponsors for their Touch the Rainbow 5km Colour Run – and is asking any companies or businesses who can help to get in touch.
It’s a bright, fun, colourful day, all raising funds for the hospice and will take place at Burrs Country Club on June 4 at
1pm.
It is for children aged five and above (Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult) so it’s a real family day out with a feel-good factor.
A hospice spokesman said: “Last year’s inaugural event was superb and was well received by all - as well as helping Bury Hospice.
“For sponsorship, it doesn’t have to be big money, although a main sponsor would be fantastic
“But for £400 a company could be the sponsor of drawstring bags or for £1,200 a business could sponsor the T-shirts which will be worn on the day and in all the photographs.
If anyone can sponsor sunglasses, it will be around £500.”
Bury Hospice also needs someone to make banners and is asking if any companies could donate portable toilets for the day and even help providing the paint for the event.
The hospice is also looking for talented people who can paint face tattoos on the day and are prepared to give their time for free.
Anyone who can help, and for details what they will get in return, please contact Michelleking@buryhospice.org.uk or call Michelle on 0161 797 1748 Ext 216
