Police have released images of three men they wish to speak to in connection with a brawl in Bury town centre.

Officers were called to Silver Street at 4.10am on Sunday, June 18, after receiving reports of violent disorder.

On arrival they established a large group had been brawling and arguing in the street, but had since dispersed.

They are now appealing for the public’s help in identifying the three men.

Detective Sergeant Ian Partington, of GMP’s Bury Borough, said: “This is a worrying incident in a busy town centre at the weekend and it is fortunate that nobody was injured.

“We have now released images of three men we are looking to speak to in connection with this incident and are appealing to the public to help trace them.

“If you recognise any of these men or were in the area at the time, I would urge you to contact us.”
