Radcliffe Borough Juniors Football Club have partnered with Bury Hospice for the 2017/2018 football season and will proudly wear the charity’s name on all their shirts.

The club have 25 different teams on their books with youngsters aged from six to 15.

Club chairman Kris Gibson, said: “We have decided to use this season to raise awareness of such a magnificent charity that has provided services and support for a number of people within the Radcliffe community.

“This coming year RBJFC will display Bury Hospice as the main branding on all new playing shirts – which equates to approximately 300 children through 25 teams.

“Being one of the largest clubs within the Bury borough, the club and its volunteers have decided that it is vitally important that we reach out to establish stronger relationships throughout the region, whether it’s charity based or with local businesses.

“We are a not-for-profit set-up and we share the challenges around raising vital revenue, support and awareness that are needed to enable success in achieving our objectives.

“As a club, we very much look forward to working together with Bury Hospice.”

Bury Hospice fundraiser Michelle King, said: "We are honoured to have the support of Radcliffe Borough Juniors. It's such a wonderful gesture."
