AN INDIAN street food cafe is celebrating its first year of business.

Shazia’s Street Food was opened by ex-sales executive, Shazia Ansari, who gave up her career of 20 years to follow her dream. On Saturday the cafe in Rochdale Road is having a special celebration.

Calling it ‘Street Food — Live’, Mrs Ansari is putting on a dosa stand, complimentary drinks and cupcakes. The cafe will be open from 10am to 6pm.

Mrs Ansari said: "It’s been a very challenging year for me, setting up my exciting business in Bury. Thankfully, it’s getting there.

"It’s been a steady growth and everybody is talking about Shazia’s Street Food.

"Our rating is five star and that makes me so so proud.

"The food that we offer is always fresh, healthy and absolutely delicious. Keep supporting us so that we can continue doing what we do best."
