ICE and snow looks set to hit Bury this weekend.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice and snow for large parts of the West of England to run from five past midnight on Friday to 6pm on Saturday.
The warning covers most of the North-West of England, including Bury and the rest of Greater Manchester.
Snow showers are being predicted on Friday and icy surfaces are also expected to form, especially overnight.
Snowfall is expected to be of around two to five centimetres but over high ground it could be as much as 20 centimetres.
Things will start to clear up in the region during Saturday but temperatures will remain low.
