BURY actor Antony Cotton has already caused a stir among viewers after the first episode of Dancing on Ice.

The Coronation Street star, who plays barman Sean Tulley, appeared to look down his dancing partner Brandee Malto’s top at the end of their routine.

He was the first to take the ice as the show returned for the first time in four years, performing to Wham’s Club Tropicana.

The routine got off to an unorthodox start as Antony, dressed as a waiter, shouted to the audience: “I’m not a real skater, so bare with me. Good luck. Love you”, before passing a tray of drinks to the bemused judges.

During the routine, Antony and Malto bungled a cartwheel move, and their money bill prop seemingly fell from Malto’s top on to the ice.

Afterwards Antony went to pick the money up, and then appeared to look down Malto’s top for the missing bill, prompting some fans of the show to take twitter to voice their anger.

However, others were quick to hit back, arguing that the look was part of the routine.

One said: “Antony Cotton was very clearly looking for the money that was supposed to be down her top at the end of the CHOREOGRAPHED performance but fell out halfway through.”

Another added: “It was part of the act. The prop fell out in a lift...Anthony didn’t know. That was quite clear.”

The judges were also apparently unimpressed by Antony and Malto’s routine, scoring the pair a mediocre 15.5, with Jason Gardiner saying: “I didn’t understand the rest of the story. I didn’t really quite get what you were. Were you a waiter or a gigolo?”
