A TOTTINGTON drama society is gearing up for the first of its two annual shows.
Actors at St Anne’s Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society are in full rehearsal mode as they get ready to present their latest pantomime, Drac and the Beanstalk.
Written by Paul Barron, the comedy brings a Transylvanian twist to the classic fairytale, as Hammerton residents Drac and his mother Elvira face rising rents, Drac is forced to sell his best friend Igor at the market — meanwhile a picky Pantoland princess is leaving her parents desperate to find her prince.
The show opens at 2.30pm on Saturday January 27 at Four Lane Ends Congregational Church — there will be further performances on February 1 and 2 at 7.30pm, and on February 3 at 2.30pm.
Tickets are available from the Cottage Loaf in Tottington, or call 07736809817 or email sadosproductions@yahoo.com.
