STAFF and customers at a Bury supermarket have helped to raise almost £700 for victims of the Manchester Arena attack.
The fundraising, held a Tesco, in Woodfield Retail Park, was organised to mark the one year anniversary of the attack on May 22.
It was also held in support of the aunt of Olivia Campbell-Hardy, who works at the store, and many staff members whose children attended the Ariana Grande concert that night.
A stall was set up selling t-shirts and fluffy bees, and the 200 store staff all wore Manchester bee t-shirts.
Wendy Howarth, community champion, said: "I'm really proud. I can't believe how much we raised.
"I am so overwhelmed that we managed to raise such a big amount in such a such a short time, and it was lovely to see all of the community come together.
"It was such a good atmosphere in the store and the minutes silence was really respectful. It was lovely."
The £690 raised will go towards the We Love Manchester Emergency fund.
