FINGERS will be firmly on the business pulse when Bury hosts its first-ever event to offer vital corporate tips and guidance to companies within the borough.
The inaugural meeting of the newly-created Bury Business Surgery will allow entrepreneurs to come together to provide an evening of advice on a wide range of issues affecting small and medium-sized firms.
About 60 representatives drawn from Bury's business community are expected to attend the event at the town's Business Lodge in Barcroft Street next Thursday (May 8) between 6pm and 9pm.
Expertise to be provided by 15 business professionals, all members of Bury Business for Breakfast, will encompass specialised areas such as business strategy, human resources, IT support, sales and marketing.
Recruitment support specialist Robin Hills, one of the professional business team, said: "We have been working together and helping each other for a number of months now. We share our expertise with each other and this is a chance for us to be able to offer this to the wider business community".
Attendance at the surgery, where refreshments will be available, is £10, of which half will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
