A FREE mortgage and protection clinic is being held in Bury to guide first time buyers, home owners and property investors through the credit crunch'.
Martin Simons, from Sunnybank, Bury, and colleague Neil Allen, who run New Wealth Financial Services Limited, say they are finding that Bury's homeowners who are due to re-mortgage are confused and worried about the rates they will be able to get - or whether they will be able to re-mortgage at all.
These and other factors will be addressed at the clinic to be staged at the Elizabethan Suite's Lancaster room next Thursday, between 6pm and 9pm. Martin, who previously worked in financial services recruitment, said: "Things are more difficult for first-time buyers with fewer deals available but it's also difficult for those who own a home and are coming to the end of their current mortgage."
Those interested in attending the clinic can either register in advance by ringing 01706 362273, or by turning up on the night on a first come, first served basis.
